The Bubble Roomeis a bath and body line started in David E. Johnston's Brooklyn kitchen in the summer of 2004. Using his keen design sensibility to create adorable neo-Victorian packaging, Johnston focused on making a high-quality, unique series of bath products that are affordable enough for daily use, not just gift-giving. He also tries to keep his products environmentally conscious: the packaging on Bubble Room soaps and lotions is all post-consumer paper and lower-impact plastic, and the products themselves have as many natural ingredients as possible. While we very much appreciate all the thought he puts into each bar and and bottle, we really just love the way they smell!
Roger & Gallet is a French cosmetics company whose line of perfumes and bath products are steeped in history: they own the rights to the formula of the very first Eau de Cologne from 1695. The first company to come up with cosmetics as we know them today - lipstick, face powder, and round soap - Roger & Gallet now produce a deliciously light series of perfumes, bodywash, and bar soap.
